Permanent hair removal
Precise, permanent treatment for unwanted facial and body hair — including fine, light, red, grey and dark hair.

How it works
A very fine, sterile probe is introduced into the natural opening of the hair follicle alongside the hair. A controlled amount of energy is then delivered to target the cells responsible for hair growth.
Fatos selects the technique and settings according to the area, hair structure, skin response and your comfort. Electrolysis can treat hair that laser may not effectively target because it does not rely on pigment.
Hair grows in cycles and not every follicle is producing a visible hair at the same time. Only hairs that have emerged can be treated, so a course of appointments is normally required. The overall timeline differs for every person and depends on the area, density, previous removal methods, hormones and consistency of appointments.
Most people describe a brief sensation of heat, tingling or stinging. Settings can be adjusted within an effective treatment range, and different areas may feel more or less sensitive.

Quick answers
Electrolysis is a method of permanent hair removal when it is performed correctly on the cells responsible for hair growth. New hair can still become active in previously untreated follicles because of hormonal or physiological changes.
Yes. Because the treatment works inside the follicle rather than targeting hair pigment, it can be used on dark, blonde, red, grey and white hair and on all skin tones.
There is no single number. The area, amount and structure of hair, hair cycles, previous removal methods and appointment consistency all affect the treatment plan.
Avoid tweezing or waxing because the hair needs to be present in the follicle for treatment. Trimming or shaving may be appropriate; Fatos can advise you for your treatment plan.
